Israeli startup AgriFriend helps small farmers in emerging markets increase their productivity and profitability, thus improving their standard of living. Today, around 500 million farmers in developing countries need a sustainable solution to their daily challenges.

From planting to harvesting, the startup has developed a digital platform that automatically adapts a comprehensive step-by-step training process. This platform includes all the best smart farming practices tailored to farmers' needs and conditions, such as weather, climate, soil quality, and crop variety, evolving in real time. A key benefit is that no internet connection is required.

Additionally, the platform provides global companies with direct access to new customers in an untapped market, facilitating marketing efforts and boosting sales.

AgriFriend's goal is to ensure farmers have access to the knowledge and expertise needed to enhance their profitability.

African agriculture largely depends on family farming (small-scale agriculture), which employs 60% of the workforce and provides about 80% of the continent's food needs.

Through technology, the startup teaches users everything they need by making traditional farming smart. Additionally, new tools are being developed to address the challenges and difficulties faced by farmers who currently have no other solutions to sustain their operations.
